Job description
Occupational Therapist
This position is for an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The unit features 285 beds, with a designated rehabilitation area. The typical patient ratios are 12:1 for acute care and 4-5:1 for rehab. Candidates with acute care or rehab experience are preferred. Typical procedures include evaluations and treatment of activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility assistance. The unit utilizes standard rehabilitation equipment. Dress code requires eggplant-colored scrubs. Employee engagement initiatives are in place, including a department employee of the month program. Staff tenure and experience contribute to a collaborative working environment. Flexible scheduling options are available, with one weekend shift required every six weeks. This is a competitive role in a dynamic setting.
