Job description
Occupational Therapist
This position is for an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting. The work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in OT Acute Care. BLS certification is required and must not expire within 30 days of starting. Experience in Activities of Daily Living, adult OT, and orthopedic therapy is mandatory. Familiarity with the EPIC charting system is essential. Therapists will handle adult acute therapy, including ICU, ED, Med Surg, Ortho, Neuro, and Cardiac cases. The position requires on-call duties and floating to different units as needed. Two weekend shifts are necessary each week. The patient ratio is typically 8-10 patients daily. Therapists are expected to meet productivity standards of 75%. This role includes a variety of patient diagnoses. This opportunity requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to various patient needs. Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive skill set relevant to acute care therapy.
