Physical Therapist
Job Title: Physical Therapist
Profession: Physical Therapist
Specialty: Staff Rehab
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience: Must have 5 years of experience with a Physical Therapist Bachelor's degree or less than 5 years with a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited program.
License: Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist License from the State of Michigan.
Certifications: Current BLS certification.
Must-Have: Experience in Acute Care or In-Patient Rehab.
Description: The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care utilizing appropriate age-specific standards of practice for physical therapists regarding all patient populations served. The therapist works independently and collaborates well with other team members in obtaining patient-centered goals. The schedule will include 2 weekend days per month, with adjustments made to ensure a total of 40 hours per week. Resources with Acute Care experience will work 1 day from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with the schedule adjusted based on patient census.
Required Skills and Experience: Ability to problem-solve. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge about the care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
