Key Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) required
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Familiarity with geriatric patient populations
Strong documentation and communication skills
