PTA Home HealthJob Title: PTA Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PTA Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Recent home health experience - Reliable transportation - Current driver's license - Agency-required liability insurance Description: This position involves providing therapy services in patients' homes. The contractor will be responsible for driving to patients' homes daily. Periodic office meetings are required. The average number of patients per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day. Productivity expectations are 32 units per week. Each type of visit and activity holds a different point value. The consultant will be utilizing specific EMR systems for documentation, including HomeCare HomeBase, Oasis, and Outlook. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Clinicians must accept every patient on their schedule, regardless of distance. All travel between patients is compensated from patient home to patient home. The contractor must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate. No guaranteed hours are offered for this position. The contractor must maintain productivity of 30 points per week. All overtime must be pre-approved. First-time applicants are not accepted; candidates must have recent home health experience. This position does not require on-call duties.
