Therapy/Rehabilitation - PTA Home Health
Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - PTA Home Health Facility: Amedisys Home Health of Griffin Location: Griffin, GA Employment Type: Travel/Contract Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 17:00 Start Date: 9/21/2026 Job Duration: 13 weeks Compensation: Rate Type: Hourly Over Time: 40 total hours in 1 week: 9.8$ Double Time: None On-Call: 4.9$ Call Back: 9.8$ Holiday Pay: 9.8$ Additional Information: Therapy PTA Home Health Home visits. Periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation current drivers license and agency-required liability insurance. Average # of patients/day: 5-6 Points per day/week: How are points broken down 30 points per week. Each type of visit and activity (documentation travel etc.) hold a different point value. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day that equate to roughly 6-8 points. Guaranteed Hours: No if there is a situation where the contractor is unable to meet their financial needs due to low patient census please reach out to the AM to discuss floating the contractor to a nearby clinic to pick up hours. Types of Cases: Start of Care Follow Ups Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience First-timers accepted: (Y/N) No must have recent Home Health experience Weekend REQ: Varies per location and profession please have traveler discuss during the interview. Certs REQ: CPR BLS Is on-call REQ (Y/N) What is the req Varies per job/location please discuss with manager during interview. Territory/County covering: Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic. Mileage reimbursed IRS Standard rate. Traveler is compensated from patient home to patient home. The commute to and from the first and last patient are not billable. Locals accepted: (Y/N) What is the local radius rule Yes local accepted at the same rate. Pending License accepted: (Y/N) No must have license in hand unless license takes a few days to obtain. Then okay to submit. Some positions specifically in the western territory often have a Baylor Shift schedule: 4x10s Friday-Monday. Most will be standard 5x8s M-F. Position Title: PTA Total number of positions needed: 1
