Respiratory Therapist
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: 4 years required; open to candidates with 2+ years of experience
License: RRT certification and BLS required; must obtain state license before start
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, ACCS preferred
Must-Have:
Strong communications and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
Experience with patient ratios in a critical care setting
Ability to work every other weekend and 2 of the 3 winter holidays
Description: Client offers position subject to clinical review. The position is for a Respiratory Therapist with experience in adult critical care. The therapist will provide care for patients with respiratory issues. Must be proactive and able to work at the top of their license. Will float between sections as needed. Work will include assessments, treatments, and management of patients. Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Epic, is required. Preferred experience includes trauma level II and ventilator management. The work environment is busy with a daily census of adult and geriatric patients. The role involves assisting with therapies like BiPAP and CPAP, along with emergency interventions. Must comply with facility policies and be adaptable to patient needs.
