Job description
Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - NICU
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty
License: Valid state license required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Must-Have: Previous charge experience
Experience with patient ratios
Description: ASAP starts only. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in the specialty. Shifts will be nights, three 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Weekend and holiday work is required. Staffing will include working at least every other Sunday. Requests for time off must be presented at the time of application. A maximum of five days off may be requested. No block scheduling requests will be accepted, except for weekends only. Previous employees of the organization are not eligible for contract positions for one year following their term date. All travelers who reside within a specified radius will be classified as local. Local rates will apply based on the traveler's permanent tax home. Candidate qualifications will be confirmed prior to hiring. Additional background checks may be required on the first day of work.
