Travel RRT Position
Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: NBRC Certification Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: - Minimum 6 months current RRT experience - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role Description: This is a travel RRT position. The role involves working in a respiratory therapy unit. The facility has a total of 760 beds and 95 staff members in respiratory therapy. Day shift consists of 20 FTEs, while night shift has 27 FTEs. Patient ratio information is not applicable. The equipment used includes V800 Draeger ventilators, C1 Hamilton systems, and Airvo for High-Flow Nasal Cannula. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Most recruited skill set includes travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Pediatric/PICU experience is preferred. Candidates with strong ICU experience will be prioritized. Typical procedures performed include respiratory care treatments and ventilator management, both invasive and noninvasive. The ideal candidate should be dynamic and capable of working in a fast-paced critical care environment. The unit offers 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage, Level 1 trauma services, a 15-bed PICU, a Level 3 NICU, and ECMO services for adults.
