Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist

Experience: Minimum 1 year
License: NRP, BLS Certifications: NBRC
Must-Have:
NRP with labor and delivery experience
NICU experience
Description: The Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist will be proficient in the following:
Medicated aerosol therapy
Small volume nebulizers
Patient education for aerosol, MDI, and DPI therapy
Medication carts and Omnicell barcoding
Medication administration
Suctioning
Manual ventilation
Intubation assistance
Mechanical ventilation administration and maintenance
CPAP administration and maintenance
High-risk delivery surfactant administration
NRP protocol
T-piece ventilation
Intubation
Blood gas sampling
Blood gas analysis
Blood gas interpretation
Humidified therapy
Heated humidity
Aerosol mask
Nasal cannula and oxygen masks
The role involves attending deliveries and addressing respiratory requirements of mothers in post-partum and infants in specialty care.
