Responsibilities
Perform patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
Assist the therapist with patient mobility activities and departmental support tasks.
Assist with gait training, transfers, activities of daily living (ADLs), and exercises.
Support patient transport, equipment pick‑up and delivery, set‑up and take‑down, wheelchair maintenance, infection control, compliance log maintenance, equipment organization, and routine cleaning tasks.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and excellent customer‑service skills.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience: One year as a therapy technician in a related health‑care environment preferred; nursing aid or technician experience will be considered.
