Tidal Basin Group is hiring a Full Time Corporate Accounting Manager in UticaThe accounting manager will be responsible for monthly close and related activities for multiple entities, along with intercompany entries and statements consolidation tasks. It will have one direct report and collaborate with multiple groups within the Finance department. Great visibility and a lot of opportunities for growth/learning.Duties and Responsibilities include:Manage monthly book closing and ensure proper accounting treatment of all transactions, including intercompany; review/analyze results; resolve issues; maintain and communicate closing schedules; strive to improve efficiency and communication among all stakeholders.Manage and lead the general ledger team, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Assist in coordination of financial external audits (RSM) and support establishing internal accounting control policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP, accounting requirements, and company policy.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Reference/Security Check?
