Physician's Clerical And Clinical SupportServes as physician's clerical and clinical support to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.Essential FunctionsTo accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s)Assists physician in clinic with patient careAnswers and responds appropriately to caller's needs to include calling in prescriptions as directed by the physicianManages all physician's written and electronic materials and maintains patient chartsManages physician calendarRegular and predictable attendanceAbility to work in a cooperative manner with othersPerforms other related duties as assignedSkills & AbilitiesEducation: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.Experience: 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment required. 1 year of clerical experience requiredCertifications: MA, LPN or RN certification required.Computer Skills: Must be computer literate.
