Job Description Job Description Managed Service Provider (MSP) looking for a customer-focused Tier 1 Onsite Technician to join our onsite team. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing essential technical support, troubleshooting hardware, networking and software issues, and ensuring a seamless technology experience. This role requires travel to customer locations when neccesary.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
Respond to incoming tickets , and emails with urgency and professionalism.
Diagnose and resolve Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and basic network connectivity problems.
Set up and deploy workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Document all technical actions , resolutions, and client interactions within our ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 and Tier 3 support when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Entry level to 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role (MSP experience is a major plus).
OS Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Windows 10/11 macOS knowledge a plus. Windows Server OS familiarity a strong Plus
Strong Hardware diagnostic skills required.
Software Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration (users, groups, passwords).
Networking: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, vpns and routers.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with a patient, customer-first attitude.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot calmly under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Requirements: Must have reliable transportation for local travel to client sites (if applicable).
