Previous 3G and 6G certification is preferred. Experience in pressure vessel welding is helpful. Our weld processes include both TIG and MIG welding of heavy copper plate up to 2" thick and copper forgings. An ideal candidate should have experience welding copper to dissimilar metals such as steel, stainless steel, nickel and aluminum bronze. A candidate should also have familiarity with both the GTAW and GMAW process and have worked with a tungsten control program. We will train on site to develop some of these skills if a person's weld test shows natural.Strong candidates for this position will meet the following expectations:Ability to work towards deadlinesAbility to work alone or part of a small teamStrong mechanical aptitudeExperience with overhead cranes/hoistsUse a variety of tools such as levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, etc.Maintain housekeeping of designated areas and assigned areas in the shopAbility to measure dimensions of products to very conformance to specificationsAbility to use measuring instruments such as rulers, calipers, gauges and micrometersWrite or complete reports based on test findingsPosition and align components for proper fitEnsure completed work meets our quality standardsWillingness to work overtime including some SaturdaysButech Bliss offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance at no cost to the employee, with a $3,500 deductible that is covered at 100% once met, as well as dental and vision coverage.
