This team values safety, quality, and skilled craftsmanship while providing a hands-on production environment for experienced welders.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!TIG Welder - Day & Swing Shift Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 24.00 to $ 24.75 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:30am to 02:00pm)Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 2:00pm to 12:30am and OT on Friday)Perform quality TIG welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components.Read prints and follow welding specifications, work instructions, and production requirements.Inspect completed welds and parts for quality, accuracy, and consistency.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding area while meeting production expectations.TIG Welder - Day & Swing Shift Qualifications:Previous TIG welding experience with the ability to consistently produce quality welds.Able to read and interpret prints and measurements.Detail-oriented with good basic math skills and strong attention to quality.Self-directed, motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.Comfortable handling metal parts and tooling up to 50 lbs and working in a manufacturing environment.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
