Position Description: The TIG welder is responsible for producing aerospace parts via TIG welding processes. This position requires a minimum of 5 years aerospace welding experience, and you must demonstrate your ability to weld during the interview process. This is a 1st shift position, Monday - Thursday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

Weld using TIG equipment

Deburr parts using handheld tools

Cleaning and washing parts to remove manufacturing oils, dirt and debris

Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations

Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.

Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System

Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisors and other staff

Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

5 years' experience aerospace welding metals including Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium

Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity

Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
