As a TIG Welder you will be part of our growing Pittsburgh manufacturing team, our career track allows your performance to allow you to earn career progress incentives! Shift: Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm) Sunday - Wednesday (3pm - 1:30am) Wednesday - Saturday (3pm - 1:30am) Sunday - Thursday (11pm - 7:30am)Job Description: The primary responsibility of TIG Welder is TIG the welding of aluminum and steel parts in a variety of standard and custom jobs. Each job must be run with safety, accuracy, and timeliness in the welding area.Responsibilities:Create quality welds according to blueprints (weld symbols)Inspect welds for accuracyPrepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum partsChange wire/welding and gas tanks as neededEnsure all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner, and that all safety devices are in usePerform first article inspections as well as subsequent inspectionsRecord proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance systemWillingness to be flexible within all areas of production within facility.Other job-related duties may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this positionSkills & Requirements:At least 1 year of experience or training in TIG WeldingMust pass the TIG welding testAbility to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job ordersAbility to operate measuring devices such as calipers and tape measurersBasic computer navigation and data entry skillsMust be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work overtime when neededBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceAbility to commute/relocate:Glenshaw, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)*Forms+Surfaces is an equal opportunity employer*
