Job description
TIG WelderWe are seeking skilled welders to join our expanding welding team. Our company specializes in manufacturing and marketing auto parts such as mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, thermal management tubing, and hydraulic and lubrication assemblies.ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials.Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accurate welding processes.Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and arranging them as needed.Ensure the quality and strength of welds by adhering to industry standards and inspecting completed work.Utilize welding machines and tools efficiently, including handling equipment for different welding positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.Implement safety precautions and comply with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.Collaborate within a team environment while working in designated welding booths equipped with snorkel systems to manage debris.Essential SkillsProficiency in MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.Capability to pass MIG/TIG weld tests and a basic math test involving decimals and measurements.Experience in working with various materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in grinding and fabricating stainless steel.Familiarity with welding machines and tools used in the industry.Possession of personal welding helmet and gloves.Why Work Here?Join a company that values employee growth and success. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
