Welder – 3rd ShiftLocation: Meadville, PA Pay: Competitive pay based on experience and skill levelPhoenix Laser Solutions is the largest YAG laser welding company in North America, with five locations across the Midwest. We specialize in precision laser welding, TIG welding, cladding, and advanced additive manufacturing technologies used to repair, modify, and manufacture critical components for industries including injection molding, aerospace, and medical devices.Our team combines advanced technology with hands-on craftsmanship to deliver repairs and surface enhancements that traditional welding shops cannot match.We are currently hiring skilled and motivated welders for 3rd shift at our Meadville, PA location. This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and advancement opportunities in a clean, climate-controlled environment.ResponsibilitiesSelect proper materials and weld wire for specific applicationsPrepare materials for welding by grinding and cleaning metal surfacesRead and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and written instructionsMeasure, compute, and document dimensions and tolerancesDetermine appropriate welding techniques and best practicesInspect and verify quality of completed partsContribute to process improvements and operational efficiencyThink critically and solve problems independentlyWork with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standardsQualificationsWelding experience preferredStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsSelf-motivated with strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 lbsAbility to sit for extended periodsAbility to perform repetitive tasksMust pass required vision screeningWillingness to work overtime during peak production periods or special projectsBenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceSimple IRA with employer match up to 3%Paid Time OffClean, climate-controlled facilityAnnual performance reviews with opportunities for wage increasesStable career with advancement opportunities
