Job description
TIG WelderThis role focuses on sanitary TIG welding and fabrication in a food processing facility, working primarily with stainless steel. You will perform a wide range of welding, cutting, and metalworking tasks, from reading blueprints and preparing parts to operating various tools and equipment to support maintenance and repair activities.Responsibilities:Perform sanitary welding in a food processing facility.Weld stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.Utilize hand tools such as drills, grinders, and wrenches effectively.Operate acetylene torch and plasma cutter for precision cutting.Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.Prepare parts for welding and fabrication.Essential Skills:Experience in food processing facility sanitary welding.Proficiency in welding stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and arc welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Skillful in using hand tools like drills, grinders, and mechanics tools.Competency in operating acetylene torch and plasma cutter.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Expertise in TIG welding.Knowledge of metal cutting and grinding.Experience in food grade welding.Understanding of food industry skills and pipe system layout.Why Work Here?Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a 401k plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage upon conversion. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
