Job description
Tire DismantlerAs a Tire Dismantler, you'll support our production team by safely removing wheels, tires, and components from vehicles, helping prepare cars for processing, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This is a hands-on, outdoor role perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, tools, and learning new skills.What You'll Do as a Tire Dismantler:Safely remove tires, fluids, and designated auto partsOperate hand tools and (if trained) industrial equipment like loaders, forklifts, or crushersInspect and maintain tools and equipment dailyPrepare vehicles for processing and ensure secure handlingSupport recycling operations and maintain accurate inventory reportingFollow all SOPs, safety standards, PPE requirements, and company policiesKeep your work area clean and organizedMeet individual and team performance goalsWork outdoors in all weather conditionsAssist teammates and learn new automotive salvage skillsWhat You Bring as a Tire Dismantler:Basic mechanical/automotive knowledgeExperience using hand tools and power toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environmentBasic computer and mobile device skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working outdoors in all weatherReliable transportation Preferred: heavy equipment experience, auto parts knowledge, bilingual (English/Spanish)About Pull-A-Part:Pull-A-Part is an award-winning national leader in used auto parts and automotive recycling, operating 36+ locations across the U.S. We focus on sustainability, customer service, and environmentally responsible recycling.Our Core Values:Respect – Every team member and customer mattersHelp – Support customers, teammates, and store goalsLearn – Ask questions and grow your skillsGrow – Build your career and advance with us
