nThis role focuses on mounting and assembling wheels and tires for irrigation equipment and off-the-road (OTR) applications in a fast-paced production environment. You will use hand and power tools to swap out and assemble tires with accuracy and consistency, helping the team meet daily production targets while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
nResponsibilities
nnnMount and assemble wheels and tires for irrigation equipment and off-the-road (OTR) applications with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
n
nnPreassemble and organize wheels and tires in preparation for mounting to support efficient line production.
n
nnRead and interpret wheel and tire requests from customers to ensure correct products and configurations are used.
n
nnMount different sizes of wheels and tires safely and efficiently using appropriate tools and techniques.
n
nnUse basic hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrenches, and other essential tools throughout the workday.
n
nnWork on your feet for the full shift while performing physical, hands-on tasks in a production setting.
n
nnMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
n
nnFollow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling tools, equipment, and materials.
n
nnPerform additional tasks and duties as assigned to support overall production and facility operations.
n
n nEssential Skills
nnnExperience using basic hand tools and power tools in a mechanical, production, or general labor environment.

nnAbility to perform mounting, assembly, and general mechanical tasks safely and efficiently.

nnCapability to read and understand customer wheel and tire requests and follow written instructions.

nnComfort working on your feet for the entire shift in a fast-paced, line production environment.

nWork Environment
nThis position is based at a new facility in Omaha, NE, with a focus on tires for irrigation equipment and off-the-road applications. The schedule is a day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will work on your feet for most of the day in a hands-on, fast-paced production setting, using hand tools, tire tools, alignment machines, air wrenches, and other mechanical equipment. The work involves physical activity and requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-conscious environment.
nJob Type & Location
nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
nIndividual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
