nJob: Tire Technician
nLocation: Roosevelt, UT
nCompensation: $18 to $20/hour
nDays/Hours: Thursday to Sunday; 5 pm to 2 am

nWhat You'll Do
n
nnSafely inspect, repair, mount, and replace tires in accordance with the Savage Tire Manual
n
nnPerform tire and maintenance service work in the shop, yard, field, and on roadside calls
n
nnMonitor tire condition and equipment needs to support preventative maintenance efforts
n
nnHelp maintain compliance with Savage standards and DOT regulations
n
nnAssist with inventory management, maintenance records, asset tracking, and reporting
n
nnMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
n
nnCollaborate professionally with operations and maintenance team members
n
nnPerform other duties as assigned by maintenance and operations leadership
nQualifications
n
nnKnowledge of tire maintenance practices, DOT requirements, and maintenance recordkeeping
n
nnAbility to identify equipment service needs and prioritize maintenance activities
n
nnExperience working on equipment in demanding operating environments preferred
n
nnProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
n
nnStrong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n
nnReliable attendance and ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
nnAbility to recognize limitations and seek assistance when needed
n
nnOne year of tire technician experience preferred
n
nnAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
n
nnAbility to lift and handle heavy parts, climb on and off equipment, and perform physically demanding work
n
nnClass A CDL preferred but not required
n
n nHere are some of the physical requirements for this role:
nnnWill be on your feet for an extended period throughout the day
n
nnWill regularly lift, walk, stand, climb, crouch, and utilize equipment and tools throughout the shift.
n
nnNavigating the facility will include, but is not limited to, exposure to harsh weather conditions, uneven ground, ladders, racks, other high places, ground that can be slick, icy, or uneven, and other industrial hazards
n
nnThe work site is an industrial setting and will require someone who can work safely in this type of environment
n
nnAbility to lift up to 100 pounds
