We’re looking for an experienced Die Maintenance Supervisor to drive precision, keep our stamping operations running seamlessly, and mentor a high‑performing crew. If you thrive on hands‑on technical leadership, root‑cause troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year shift: First work hours: 6 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
Directly supervise, lead, and develop the Die Maintenance team. Oversee daily operations, approve time and attendance, conduct new hire and annual performance evaluations, and coordinate with Human Resources on personnel matters and disciplinary actions as needed.
Plan and schedule routine inspections, die changeovers, refurbishments, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Work closely with production planning to align maintenance activities with production targets, including scheduling necessary team overtime.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical and operational issues with dies and tooling during production runs. Perform thorough root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Set up and operate standard toolroom equipment—including CNC mills, Wire EDM, surface/OD/ID grinders, and heat‑treating equipment to perform turning, boring, drilling, polishing, and threading for die repair, fabrication, or modification.
Fabricate gages, replacement parts, and machine tooling directly from engineering drawings, sketches, verbal instructions, or existing sample parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments (micrometers, dial calipers, indicators)
Maintain and manage an adequate inventory of die spare parts, tooling, production equipment parts, and raw materials. Monitor stock levels and initiate purchasing orders

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
