Job TitlePay: $30-35/hr.2nd ShiftRequirements:Producing parts on a lathe within .001" toleranceProducing parts on a milling machine within.001" toleranceProducing parts on a surface grinder within.0002" toleranceProducing parts on a cylindrical grinder within.0002" toleranceProducing parts on a drill press within.001" toleranceProducing parts on a power saw with .03" toleranceComfortable with all aspects of being a Tool & Die Maker and everything the it encompassesJob Details:Maintain dies and tooling to print specification as requiredSharpen and shim dies to die specificationsHeat treat all cutting tools to print specificationPerform machining duties as specified. Train/Mentor other associates in machining practices as requiredPerform preventative maintenance on dies to schedule (TRT)Properly lace or start a strip in accordance with standard procedurePerform first and last piece evaluations in accordance with SOP'sRead strips accurately and create TRT when applicableRepair and maintain dies, components and fixtures using tool & die techniques and tools as required to support productionEvaluate and support press set-ups (inserting/installing die sets, accessories, safety equipment, welding fixtures, tapping, fixtures, etc.)Design, build and/or refurbish dies and gages as requiredAnalyze broken or ineffective dies, determine root cause and develop and implement corrective actionTest try out and develop new dies or upgrades as requiredBuild tool & die components, jigs, fixtures and gages to print specificationEvaluate tools for potential upgrades to reduce maintenance costs and improve production efficiencyBenefits:Medical Plan/Prescription Drug PlanHSA/Flex Spending & Dependent Care AccountsDental PlanVision Insurance401(k) ProgramLife, AD&D, Disability, Voluntary Life, AD&D, & LTD ProgramGenerous Holiday and Vacation BenefitsMarket Competitive PayAssociate Bonus ProgramShift DifferentialRewards & Recognition ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness Program with IncentivesTuition Reimbursement
