Mold Maker - 3rd ShiftAnkeny, IA Direct Hire | Full-Time $25-$30/hour + 15% Shift Differential + Quarterly Profit SharingBuild Precision Tooling That Makes a Difference:Are you an experienced Mold Maker, Tool & Die Maker, Toolmaker, or Precision Machinist looking for an opportunity to work on highly advanced tooling projects?Join a growing precision manufacturing organization where you'll build new injection molds used to produce critical components for medical devices and other high-precision applications. This is an opportunity to take ownership of mold builds from start to finish while working in a clean, climate-controlled tool room with industry-leading equipment and technology.What You'll Do:Build new precision steel injection molds from engineering drawings and CAD filesMachine mold components using CNC mills, EDM sinkers, EDM hole burners, lathes, grinders, and other tool room equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD modelsInspect components using precision measuring equipment and microscopesTroubleshoot tooling issues during the mold build processPartner with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and on scheduleSupport new tooling projects and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:2+ years of mold making, tool & die, tooling, or precision machining experience preferredExperience building molds, tooling, or precision componentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD filesExperience with CNC machining and EDM equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsCommitment to producing high-quality work with tight tolerancesTool & Die education or apprenticeship experience is a plusBenefits & Perks:Competitive pay: $25-$30/hour15% shift differential for 3rd shiftQuarterly profit-sharing programMedical, Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance401(k) with company match3 weeks PTO and 10 paid holidaysOvertime available and paid at time-and-a-halfClimate-controlled facility maintained year-roundStrong culture of internal promotion and career growthOpportunities to advance into CNC Programming, Lead Machinist, Supervisory, and Tool Room Leadership positionsSchedule:3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AMApply Today:If you have experience in mold making, tool & die, tooling, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing and are looking for a long-term career with excellent growth potential, we'd love to hear from you.
