Tool & Die Maker 1st Shift (4-Day Workweek)ATACO Steel Products Corp is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker to support our metal stamping operations. This role focuses on building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies, fixtures, and tooling to keep production running efficiently.Schedule:1st ShiftMonday–Thursday, 4:00 AM–2:00 PM OR Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PMOccasional Friday overtime, up to 2 Fridays a month mandatory2nd ShiftMonday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AMOccasional Friday overtime, up to 2 Fridays a month mandatoryWhat You'll DoBuild, repair, and maintain stamping dies, fixtures, and toolingPerform die maintenance and troubleshooting during production changeoversProgram, set up, and operate CNC mills and manual machining equipmentMachine and fit tooling components to precise tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints and GD&T specificationsWork with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performanceMaintain records of tooling repairs and modificationsWhat We're Looking ForCompletion of a Tool & Die or Toolmaker apprenticeship7+ years of experience in a metal stamping or toolmaking environmentStrong knowledge of precision machining, blueprint reading, and GD&TExperience operating CNC mills and manual machine toolsAbility to troubleshoot tooling and die issues independentlyWhy People Like Working at ATACO4-day workweekFamily-owned company with a collaborative team environmentVariety of complex tooling and stamping workOpportunity to work closely with engineering and production teamsBenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision, HSA, Life & AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) with company match, vacation, holidays, education assistance, and gainsharing.ATACO Steel Products Corp is an equal opportunity employer.
