Job description
Tool And Die MakerEssential Job ResponsibilitiesBuild, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dies, tooling, and components to support production.Machine tooling components using manual and CNC equipment.Set up and operate mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, and wire EDM equipment.Install, adjust, and troubleshoot dies and tooling in production presses.Inspect tooling for wear, functionality, and quality requirements.Perform preventive maintenance and tooling improvements.Support operators and setup personnel with technical guidance and troubleshooting.Maintain required documentation and participate in 5S activities.Follow all quality, safety, and environmental requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Tool & Die Maker Journeyman preferred.Required Skills and AbilitiesProficiency with precision measuring instruments and hand tools.Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.Strong machining, troubleshooting, and mechanical problem-solving skills.Knowledge of CNC programming, CAD, and GD&T.Understanding of heat treating, cutting tool technology, sensors, and tooling applications.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.Excellent attention to detail.Physical RequirementsThe noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection is provided and required.
