We want you to view your time at Westfall as an investment to your future.We are currently seeking a Tool Maker with the below qualifications:Perform scheduled & emergency tooling repair, maintenance, cleaning & set-up of self-contained moldsInspect, build & maintain tooling & part fixtures using turning, milling & grinding operationsRecommend changes to mold designs to improve life of the toolingAssist in troubleshooting of tooling on production floor in the molding machines & on the benchParticipation in plant-wide safety efforts - safe and careful work practices always followed to reinforce a culture of safetySupport and participation in continuous improvement activities including maintaining a clean and organized workplaceResponsiveness to production, engineering and maintenance demandsAbility to work independently as well as on a teamOther responsibilities and projects as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent is required5-7 years' experience as a toolmaker5 years production environment in injection molding or related field preferredAbility to multi-task and prioritize work and detail orientatedMust be able to weld and have experience with machine toolsMust be able to read and interpret tooling drawingsMust be able to sit or stand for long periods of timeMust be able to 55-60 lbs. occasionally during the dayFrequent pushing, pulling, twisting, balancing, and stoopingMust have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reachWhat You'll Love About Us:11 Paid Holidays, Sick Pay, Vacation Pay401K, Plus Employer MatchMedical, Dental, Vision, Company Sponsored Life and AD&D, Short and Long Term Disability, Paid Parental Leave, and More…We are committed to creating a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
