Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Tool Maker Machinist to provide accurate tools and fixtures to support metal stamping presses.
Responsibilities:
Operate machine tools to produce tooling to produce precision parts
Build and maintain tooling, fixtures, and gages used in production
Perform routine maintenance on machinery
Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
Qualifications:
Previous experience using manual machinery, i.e. lathe, knee mill, drill press
Familiarity with heat treating of tooling
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Strong attention to detail
