Job description
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Receive and inspect tools
* Repairs and certifies tools as required
* Schedule and ship tools as required by local installation offices
* Performs scheduled maintenance on tools
* Track and follow up on outstanding/overdue tool usage
* Maintain log or other documentation regarding tooling
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One + years of machinist experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
* Ability to use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, impact wrench, wire cutters, tape measure and other job-related tools.
* Gross motor ability to kneel, crouch, bend, recline, and climb in a variety of maintenance related duties and to drive a forklift.
* English proficiency to perform troubleshooting and verify parts orders via telephone and or email.
* Communication skills necessary to interact with employees, management, and outside contractors.
* Software skills necessary to understand and operate email system and tool tracking software.
