Tooling MechanicBoeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) has an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Mechanic to support the Tooling Team in Berkeley, MO!Position Responsibilities:Fabricate, maintain, modify, & install various forms of tooling, such as large and small engineering test fixtures, fabrication equipment, etc. in collaboration with engineering design teamsUtilize manual equipment to fabricate or modify various tooling components(Examples: Marvel saw, mill, manual lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.)Other responsibilities to include: Blueprint Reading, 3D Model Interrogation, Machining, Tooling Inspection, Laser TrackingBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years' of experience working in a tool fabrication environment.High school graduate or GEDPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with Aerospace tool fabricationCertificate or Degree or Technical Trade School Certificate (Or appropriate apprenticeship completion)1+ years' of experience in programming & operating CNC machineryExperience with Software (MasterCAM, NX, Verisurf, etc.)Experience using manual inspection and CPU driven equipment such Laser TrackersConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment processDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
