Job description
Mold CleanerThe Mold cleaner oversees servicing injection molds after production according to accumulated shots and condition reported by productionKey Responsibilities:Ensures that molds are cleaned greased and serviced correctly to be prepared for next production run.Prepares molds with right configuration per drawings according to production scheduleInspects and evaluates wearing, damage or abnormal condition in molds and addresses to tool maker and/or engineeringMaintain mold storing locations accurateSupports all tool room activities related with moldsCoordinates with production to ensure that all molds are available and ready to run on time.Documents all work performed to moldsAdheres to good manufacturing practices and safety guidelinesFollow schedule for work shifts, meetings, time off, overtime, and breakPerforms minor machining activities required to service molds (Bridgeport, lathe, surface grinder)Qualifications:High School diploma or college degreeMechanical skillsDetailed and organizedBasic knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatic, hydraulicsRequirements, Skills & Experience:2 to 4 years in injection molding environment
