Toolmaker/Machinist IIIBoulder, Colorado, United StatesCareers that Change LivesOur Toolmaker III role works independently to produce parts for manufacturing machines, prototype parts for R&D engineers, and other machining projects as needed.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Setup, program, and run CNC machining centers, manual mills and lathes, and other shop equipment.Work independently to complete jobs on time.Produce precision components to print, modify existing parts, and inspect form and fit.Solve problems creatively. Come up with solutions to design issues relating to machinability. Suggest material choices.Communicate effectively. Provide feedback as needed to keep others informed about status of urgent projects, issues as they arise, and other concerns.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experienceHS diploma/GED or equivalentNice to Have6+ years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of CAD software such as Solidworks or ProE/CreoExperience with wire EDMAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
