These include: PTO, paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, profit sharing, long-term and short-term disability, and life and AD&D insurance.General Summary: Responsible for making and repairing fixtures, tooling, and machining parts used in the manufacturing process to make products.QualificationsSpecialized, technically oriented positionMust be able to identify technical problems and develop sound, carefully thought-out solutionsComfortable in doing varied activities with multiple, simultaneous projects and tasks in a fast paced environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer/internal specifications and quality standards.Job ResponsibilitiesMonitor, organize, and maintain injection molding toolingInspect, measure, fit-up, and document new tools as they arriveSupport molding engineer during the conditioning of new toolsRepair damaged tooling by use of various tool repair techniques (welding, grinding, machining)Troubleshoot production tooling and correct issues associated with flashRead and understand blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine partsAssist with tooling concept layout and design reviewsOversee tooling throughout the build process, storage and inventory both internally and externallyOperate vertical mill, surface grinders, lathe, CNC, and EDMFollow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International StandardsOther duties as assignedRequirementsAssociates degree in Tool and Die or Machine Tool Technology5 years of experience in injection molding toolingWorking knowledge of MS Office, Solidworks, MasterCam, AdobeAbility to operate machine tools -- vertical mill, surface grinders, CNC, and EDMAdvanced Powder Products provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
