Torque Converter AssociateLocation: Camelback Rd & 43rd Avenue, Phoenix, AZShift: 1st Shift — 6:00 AM to 3:00 PMPay: $20.00 per hourUrgent Need — Bilingual PreferredPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Torque Converter Associate to support production and assembly operations. This role involves hands-on work with components, tools, and equipment while following established production and quality standards. Light welding experience is a strong plus but is not required.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and work with torque converter components according to established proceduresUse hand tools and production equipment safely and accuratelyPerform basic mechanical assembly and component fittingInspect parts and completed products for quality and accuracyFollow written and visual work instructionsAssist with basic welding-related tasks when trained and qualifiedIdentify and report defective, damaged, or incorrect componentsMeet daily production and quality expectationsMaintain an organized and clean workstationFollow all safety procedures and required production standardsWork closely with leads and other team members to meet department goalsRequirementsMechanical or hands-on production experience preferredLight welding experience is a strong plus, but not requiredPrevious manufacturing, assembly, automotive, or production experience is preferredComfortable using basic hand tools and equipmentAbility to follow detailed work instructionsStrong attention to detail and qualityReliable attendance and stable work historyAbility to perform repetitive hands-on tasksMust be able to work effectively independently and as part of a teamMust be available to work Monday—Friday, 6:00 AM—3:00 PMBilingual Spanish is preferred, but not requiredPreferred QualitiesMechanically inclinedBasic welding knowledge or experienceAutomotive or manufacturing backgroundStrong hand-eye coordinationWillingness to learn new production processes and equipmentConsistent attendance and long-term job commitmentCOM156
