This is not a sit-behind-a-desk kind of job. Our Tour Narrators are part storyteller, part entertainer, and part Nashville ambassador. Welcome guests and create a friendly, hospitable atmosphere
Speak comfortably and confidently to groups of varying sizes
Adjust your delivery and energy based on the audience while maintaining accurate tour content
Answer general guest questions and provide excellent customer service
Work closely with the marine, hospitality, and guest-service teams
Maintain a professional presence throughout each cruise
What We're Looking For
Confident, outgoing personality with strong public-speaking skills
Natural storyteller who can keep an audience engaged
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Able to learn and retain tour scripts, historical information, and talking points
Comfortable speaking on a microphone for extended periods
Able to think on your feet and adapt when needed
Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, theater, public speaking, education, entertainment, or customer service is a plus
Knowledge of Nashville history is a plus, but a willingness to learn is just as important
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Why Nashville Riverboats?
You won't be giving tours from a bus or standing behind a counter, you'll be helping guests experience Nashville from the Cumberland River.
Nashville Riverboats is growing, and we're looking for people who bring personality, professionalism, and genuine Southern hospitality to the experience.
