Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Tow Truck Operator plays a critical role in providing timely vehicle towing and roadside assistance services. As part of a team, operators frequently travel between locations to respond to emergency situations and scheduled towing assignments. They are skilled in operating various tow trucks and equipment, including standard, flatbed, and heavy-duty tow trucks, while ensuring safety compliance and effective customer interaction.
Responsibilities
Tow vehicles safely using standard, flatbed, and heavy-duty tow trucks
Provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists
Operate towing equipment efficiently and according to safety standards
Ensure vehicle loading and unloading is secure and damage-free
Perform maintenance checks on tow trucks and equipment
Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance requirements
Interact professionally with customers during service calls
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle operation
Valid driver’s license and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques
Demonstrated safe driving practices
Basic mechanical knowledge
Strong customer service skills
Effective time management and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities

We also operate a 15 bay repair shop at our location.
