ATSSA-certified traffic control managers needed to oversee work zone safety, crew deployment, and DOT compliance on highway and road projects.
Traffic Control Manager
R&R Contracting Utilities is hiring traffic control managers to oversee work zone traffic management operations for highway, arterial, and local road construction projects.
What You\'ll Do
Plan, set up, and manage traffic control operations per MUTCD and state DOT standards
Supervise flagging crews and traffic control technicians on site
Coordinate with general contractor superintendents on lane closure schedules
Ensure all signage, barriers, channelizing devices, and lighting meet compliance requirements
Conduct pre-shift safety meetings and monitor work zone safety throughout the day
Manage equipment inventory, deployment, and maintenance
Document daily traffic control activities and submit reports
What We\'re Looking For
ATSSA certification required
3+ years of traffic control or work zone management experience
Knowledge of MUTCD standards and state DOT traffic control regulations
Experience supervising crews of 5+ workers
Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record
Night work and weekend availability as needed
