Job description
TRP Infrastructure Services
Join our Branch to support traffic control sign production and general labor work. You'll help produce roadway signs, operate equipment, and complete digging and concrete work. We welcome candidates with sign production or general labor experience. A Class A CDL is preferred but not required.
What you will do:
Produce traffic control and roadway signs to approved layouts, specifications, schedules, and applicable TxDOT requirements.
Operate sign printing, cutting, laminating, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Read work orders and sign layouts, and select substrates, reflective sheeting, and other materials.
Inspect completed signs for dimensions, color, alignment, finish, and overall quality.
Operate a Bobcat or other skid steer and perform general labor tasks.
Use hand augers, post hole diggers, and breaker bars; mix concrete and occasionally dig holes by hand.
Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in safe condition, and follow company safety procedures and shop requirements.
Track production quantities and material or inventory usage as required.
Assist with packaging, staging, and preparing completed signs for shipment.
