About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, hands‐on mechanic with experience in truck and/or trailer repair. This role is perfect for someone who can diagnose issues, perform quality repairs, and keep equipment safe and road‐ready.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs on trucks and trailers using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
Work overhead, climb ladders, and safely use hydraulic jacks
Diagnose mechanical issues and complete proper repairs
Complete all required paperwork, including Repair Orders and PM sheets
Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and stored properly
Perform Heavy‐Duty Inspections and follow DOT guidelines
Follow all shop safety policies, including PPE and proper tool use
Handle various mechanical tasks based on experience level
Minimize turnaround time to keep equipment productive
Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with the team
Adapt to changing priorities and assignments from management
Ensure vehicles meet safe operating standards
Report to work on time, alert, and ready — overtime may be required
Maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, coworkers, and management
Qualifications
Tractor‐Trailer and/or Tanker Repair Experience — Required
Knowledge of safe operation of shop tools/equipment — Required
Welding experience —
DOT certification in FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes —
Own tools —
Valid driver’s license — Required
18+ years old — Required
