Transducer Assembler 2Volt is immediately hiring Assembler for a local leading Manufacturing Company in Poway Ca.As an Assembler you will:Read and interpret production drawings, blueprints, sample drawings, written instructions and informal assembly drawingsRead and follow work release information and Engineering Change Order (ECO)Tend to machines such as press, shape/mold, and mixing (urethanes and glue)Trim, shaves, or adjust materials from produced products to follow electrical or dimensional specificationsPerform in-line inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet specs and standardsPerforms variety of production operations such as soldering/de-soldering ceramic materials, assembly/disassembly, bolts, screws, glues, and testingPerform transitional assembly tasks such as sanding, cleaning, curing, stamping, epoxy bonding, potting, encapsulating, and color coding partsConduct inspection testing on assemblies using tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammer, etc.This is a Full-Time temp-to-hire OpportunityThe ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & Qualifications Requires a high school education or equivalent (GED)Minimum of 2-5 years closely related experienceMust be able to demonstrate soldering proficiencyDemonstrate mechanical assembly knowledgeAble to read/interpret blueprints, bill of materials, drawings, written instructionsExhibit strong mechanical knowledgeU.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical DataPreferred Skills & Qualifications Understanding of 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices is a plusBasic computer skills needed to be able to perform documentationBasic mathematics, calculations, including ratios and fractionsSchedule: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pmPossible Overtime work on SaturdayPay Rate: $21/hr plus overtime as needed.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
