Transportation Certified Nursing AssistantAt Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus, we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of rehabilitation and skilled nursing in a post-acute setting. Our team of highly trained professionals is comprised of passionate individuals who have dedicated their lives to caring for others.We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Transportation Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team! As a Transportation Aide, you will provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and transport residents to appointments as scheduled. You will also assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents.Responsibilities:Clear driving recordWillingness to transport as neededFlexible hoursProperly use and maintain facility equipmentAssist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, and positioning in and out of bed, chair, etc.Prepare residents for meals and snacksAssist residents in eating where needed and record food intakeMaintain residents' rooms in neat, orderly and clutter-free mannerEnsure residents are given correct dietSupport residents' participation in activity programsDirectly respond to needs and concerns of residents and family membersEnsure residents' rights are being honored at all timesProvide resident care as directed by care planEnsure residents' comfort while assisting them in achieving their highest practicable level of functioningParticipate in collecting data needed for the accurate completion of the MDS and the plan of careOther responsibilities, within scope, as set forth by DON/ADONQualifications:Must be a Certified Nurse Aide in good standing with the stateMust maintain a current certification in the state throughout employmentMust achieve 12 hours of in-service education annually as required by federal regulations (as well as meet state requirements, if exceeds federal)Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary informationMust have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with residents, families and other employees at all levelsMust be capable of maintaining regular attendanceBenefits:MedicalDentalVision401KPTO PlanIf you are a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care to others, we encourage you to apply for this wonderful opportunity!
