We oversee projects involving roadways, structures, interchanges, and toll plazas. Offering expert consulting from design to construction.Your ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise inspectors on major transportation projectsReview drawings to prepare for the inspectionConduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentationInspect worksite for proper traffic control setupInspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and that they are in compliance with applicable permitsMonitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client's proceduresEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diplomaMinimum of five (5) years construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects to include a minimum of two (2) years supervising and/or managing inspectorsMust have three (3) of the following:Current NICET Level 3 or higher certificationACI Concrete CertificationPennDOTNECEPT Concrete CertificationNECEPT AsphaltPennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experienceWe are managing complex, large-scale commercial projects from conceptual planning through design, construction, and occupancy. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
