Job TitleSecond-level vocational position located in the Traffic Engineering DivisionEmployer: State of MississippiSalary: $30,500.00 - $38,031.46 AnnuallyLocation: 25 - HINDS COUNTY, MSJob Type: Full-TimeAbout the Position: Second-level vocational position located in the Traffic Engineering Division, accountable for technical work involving the operation and maintenance of more complex equipment. Employee must be willing to work in the Northern Region of the State. Employee may also be responsible for repairing traffic signals; installing and maintaining signs; applying herbicide, pesticide, and snow and ice chemicals; striping; traffic control; pothole patching; and responding to natural and man-made disasters.What you'll need to be Successful: To be successful in this role, you will need a strong work ethic, the ability to work well with others, and a commitment to contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 1-2 years of experience.
