The Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations, fleet management, dispatch functions, employee supervision, safety compliance, customer service, and financial performance. This position provides leadership to transportation supervisors and frontline employees while ensuring safe, efficient, and guest-focused transportation services.
Compensation Data
COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $70,000.00? to $75,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Manage all transportation operations in accordance with Aramark standards, company policies, safety requirements, and client expectations.
Oversee daily transportation activities including fleet utilization, dispatch operations, route management, scheduling, staffing, and customer service delivery.
Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, National Park Service, and company regulations.
Promote a strong safety culture through training, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
Recruit, train, supervise, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline employees.
Lead performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
Maintain effective communication with clients, guests, and internal departments.
Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide financial forecasts.
Respond to operational emergencies and service disruptions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation operations, fleet management, transit services, hospitality transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience leading teams in a customer-facing environment preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of transportation operations, fleet scheduling, dispatch systems, safety programs, regulatory compliance, and customer service standards.
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and applicable transportation regulations preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience with transportation management, dispatching, scheduling, or workforce management systems preferred.
