Transportation Specialist - 2nd Shift
Location: Streetsboro, Ohio
Salary: 45,000-46,000

Key Responsibilities for the Transportation Specialist- 2nd Shift:
Quote and schedule LTL, Volume LTL, and expedited shipments based on customer requirements.
Coordinate with customers, carriers, and shipping contacts to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
Dispatch carriers and provide shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
Track and trace shipments and communicate status updates as needed.
Resolve shipment issues, service exceptions, and customer concerns.
Support freight claims and assist with process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for the Transportation Specialist - 2nd Shift:
1+ year of experience in customer service, transportation, logistics, or 3PL operations preferred.
Knowledge of LTL freight rating, freight classifications, density calculations, and NMFC guidelines.
Understanding of LTL carrier tariffs, rules, and transportation management systems (TMS).
Ability to manage high-volume communication through phone, email, and web-based platforms.
Availability to work a 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM schedule.
