Keep our patients safe and supported on every journey. Schedule: PRN/As Needed, no set schedule. As a Transporter at Royal Oaks Hospital, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable transportation of patients. This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network. Key Responsibilities
Safely transport patients while following all traffic laws and ensuring seatbelt use
Work collaboratively with hospital staff to maintain smooth operations
Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff members
Complete required training and continuing education, including CALM and CPR
Observe urinalysis collection as needed
Report and schedule vehicle maintenance, emergency breakdowns, or accidents per policy
Promote quality improvement initiatives within the hospital
Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and comply with Federal, State, and TJC regulations Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED preferred Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements: Experience in patient transportation, healthcare, or related field preferred Valid driver's license required Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid Class E Missouri driver's license or ability to obtain within 60 days You'll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You: Are dependable, safety-conscious, and adaptable to changing schedules Communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a team Take pride in supporting patients and staff through your reliability and professionalism Believe in providing not just a ride—but connection, care, and consistency to those you serve
