Schedule: Day Shift 8*5 40hours/week
Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Contract: 1 Year ONLY
Requirements: Weekends, Holidays, On-Call & Callback as needed
Experience: 2 years as an Anesthesia Tech
Certification: BLS Required
Assist with anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications, supplies & patient preparation
Support difficult intubations and central line procedures
Operate cell-saver and support cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic & trauma cases
Maintain, set up, calibrate and troubleshoot advanced anesthesia equipment
Test infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators & transport monitors
Support fiberoptic bronchoscopy equipment and out-of-OR anesthesia procedures
Set up OR rooms/carts and ensure specialized equipment availability
Assist with staff training and provide backup to the shift supervisor
Preferred: Related college/technical education and national Anesthesia Technologist certification
Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move Two (2) Year's Experience highly desired Highly desired BLS preferred (American Heart Association ONLY) Nice to have
